Course content:
Designed for students who want to progress to education and training, probably in the UK, particularly to university, both first degree and postgraduate, and for students working towards professional registration.
EIS courses are accredited by The British Council through Accreditation UK.
Includes English in an academic context, with practice of the key language skills of reading, writing, listening & speaking; Academic skills in English including intensive reading, note-taking, summary and academic presentation; and IELTS preparation.
The specific content depends on the level, needs and interests of the students in each class. Teachers assess and discuss this at the start of each course.
Course Structure:
Classes typically have about 20 students. Students may work in groups, in pairs or individually. Students need to complete course work outside the class. There is an emphasis on active student participation in activities, both in class and outside.
Course resources:
You will have access use of computers, audio-visual equipment and our language laboratory. All students have access to our fully equipped state of the art learning centre. This included free internet access.

EU/Home students. Morning and Afternoon 15 hr Classes; £313, for a 13 week term and £293 for a 11 week term; Please ask about fees for 10 and 6 hour classes.
Non-EU International students. Morning EIS 15 hour classes; £820 for a 13 week term, £700 for 11 week term, £2,200+ for academic year September - July (3 terms). Afternoon EIS 15 hour classes; £765 for a 13 week term, £655 for 11 week term. Please ask about EIS exam fees.Materials costs:
