Course Description
This course aims to develop your knowledge and understanding of the business world. You will learn by completing assignments and practical activities that are based on real life situations in the workplace. You will complete eight units in this course including: Starting Work, Working in Business, Retail and Administration, Customer Services, Personal Effectiveness, Financial Management, Ensuring Health and Safety at Work, Communicating Effectively at Work, Introduction to Retail, and Introduction to Administration.

Entry Requirements
4 GCSE's Grades E-G including Maths and English, plus an interview with a Course Tutor and a satisfactory school reference

Assessment Methods
Assessment is carried out by written assignments

Progression
On successfully completing this course, you can progress to the BTEC First Diploma or Certificate in Business or onto our General Secretarial Intermediate course.
