Course Description:
This course is to provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to find employment within the hospitality or travel and tourism industries.

Students will study the following modules:

• Starting Work in Hospitality, Travel and Tourism
• Working in Hospitality, Travel and Tourism
• Introduction to Customer Service
• Planning Trips
• Using Displays in Travel and Tourism
• Food Service with a Smile
• Personal Effectiveness
• Financial Management

Assessment and Progression:
This course is assessed through a variety of assignments and course work.

On successful completion of this course, students can progress onto the BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Hospitality or the BTEC Diploma in Travel and Tourism.
