Course Description:
Focuses on the skills and knowledge required by supervisors and managers in the Hospitality industry. A mix of theory and practical learning will be employed and students will develop food preparation and service skills through the parallel study of City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Hospitality.

Entry Requirements:
Equivalent qualifications and mature students with relevant industrial experience will be considered.
Assessment and Progression:
There are no exams for this qualification, all work is internally assessed, under standardisation of BTEC/Edexcel.
On successful completion of the two year course, students can enter into employment within the hospitality and catering industry or higher level qualifications such as HND, Foundation Degree, or Degree.
Duration:
The Award in Hospitality is a one year full time course. The Certificate in Hospitality is a two year full time course. They both include several vocational relevant short courses and NVQ 2 Multi-Skilled Services, which will add to your employment prospects.
