Attendance
You are expected to be available to attend college Monday to Thursday 9am to 5.30pm and Friday 9am to 4.30pm.

Course Description
The course offers a range of subjects and ensures that students are both prepared and qualified for a junior career in the customer service environment.

Course Structure
The course includes the following subjects:
  • NOCN Level 1 Progression Award
  • NVQ Level 1 Customer Service
  • BTEC Introductory Certificate in Business, Administration and retail
  • NCFE Employment Skills
  • Key Skills


Course Assessment
All qualifications are assessed by building portfolios of evidence to demonstrate understanding of the various subjects.

  • 2 GCSEs at grade G or above

Course Costs
There are no course fees if you are under 19 years old on 31 August 2010. However, you may have to pay for textbooks, personal kits, uniforms, trips and personal stationery. You will be informed of these at your interview.

Activities such as trips and visits will be arranged, which are beneficial to this course and your learning. These activities are optional and additional fees will be charged to you. Details will be provided at the time of interview.
