Course description
This Level 1 Certificate is a practical course which will provide you with an introduction to particular craft skills in construction and in part to building services. The course will be delivered in partnership with Carterton Community College where the practical aspects of this course will be delivered.
To achieve the qualification you will study eight units from a choice of the following occupational groups.
• Bricklaying
• Carpentry and Joinery
• Electrical installation
• Painting and Decorating
• Plumbing
Please note confirmation of the specific units will be determined at the start of the course.
To gain the City & Guilds Level 1 qualification candidates must undertake an externally set and externally marked multiple choice question test. This is in addition to the practical assignments for each unit.
