Content This course is 5 days per week. If you want to work with children and you are very practical this may be the course for you. The course covers: An Introduction to Working with Children, The Developing Child, Safe, health and nurturing environments, Children and Play, Communication and Professional Skills, The Childcare Practitioner in the Workplace and Play activities from 0 - 16 years. You will be required to study Essential Skills (Literacy and Numeracy) as part of your course. If you are 16-18 or if this is your FIRST level 2 course eg less than 5 Cs at GCSE - it is FREE.

NB - As you will be working with young children you will be required to complete a Criminal Record.
