Content If you have a strong desire to work with children from birth to 16 years old, then this is designed for you. The course comprises 60% college based and 40% practical work placement with continuous assessment. You develop an understanding of the physical, social, spiritual, moral and emotional care of children, the value of play and structured learning, health issues, food and nutrition. You may also take vocational skills in communication and information technology. All full time courses for school leavers are FREE. If you are 19-25 yrs of age and this is your FIRST level three course - it is FREE.
