Course Description: This course is aimed at students between 16-19 years old, who wish to progress their skills from NVQ Level 1 Hairdressing. Students will learn skills such as cutting, perming and colouring, along with relevant theory as underpinning knowledge.

Entry Requirements:

• All students should have completed their Secondary Education to GCSE standard with grades D or above.
• Students should have completed either NVQ Level 1 or City & Guilds Salon Services prior to this course. The college will advise potential students as to the correct progression course to best suit their individual needs.

Progression/Career Opportunities:

• NVQ Level 3 in Hairdressing
• NVQ Levels 2 & 3 in Beauty Therapy.
