What will I be learning?

This course is unit based and you will cover the following main areas:
Carry out safe working practices
Building Methods
Interpretation of drawings.

How will I learn?

You will complete practical and theory work as well as external examinations and be assessed in a practical work-based setting on your ability to carry out tasks. To demonstrate the required level of competence you will be expected to provide a portfolio of evidence as well as pass the externally set end test.

What else might I want to know?

You will need your own personal protective footwear, basic
stationery equipment and you may be required to contribute towards the cost of any trips and activities.

What can I do afterwards?

On successful completion you can further your academic studies by
progressing onto the Level 3 Diploma in Brickwork.
