WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
You will develop an in-depth knowledge of holistic concepts of health along with the practical skills such as those included in aromatherapy massage and reflexology techniques. You will also learn the necessary health and safety/employment standards to run your own business.
WHAT DO I NEED?
WHAT ARE MY COMMITMENTS?
You will need to attend classes for approximately 16-18 hours per week. The course includes a substantial ammount of practical work for which you may need to arrange clients. In addition you will need to spend approximately 20 hours per week on coursework at home or in college. Your assignments will need to be completed by the deadlines. You will need to produce a portfolio of work to be monitored by an internal and external verifier and you will need to sit external exams in Health & Safety, Anatomy and Physiology for each therapy.

WHAT CAN I DO AFTERWARDS?
You will qualify as a Holistic Therapist after completing one year of the course and you will gain insurance in order to work. You may wish to further your qualifications by enrolling onto year 2, or progress onto the level 3 Diploma courses in Aromatherapy and Reflexology. Therapists also work in many areas related to health such as hospitals, hospices and health practices
