Course description
This programme is aimed at students aged 16 to 19 who are seeking to improve their skills to enable them to join the workforce or to take up further educational opportunities.
Course Structure
Programme will include the following modules;
- Speaking and Listening
- Reading
- Writing
- Numeracy
- Personal Development
Course Assessment
Speaking and Listening, Reading, Writing and Numeracy will be tested through examinations.
Personal Development module will require the completion of a portfolio of work.

Course Costs
There are no course fees if you are under 19 years old on 31 August 2010. However, you may have to pay for textbooks, personal kits, uniforms, trips and personal stationery. You will be informed of these at your interview.

Activities such as trips and visits will be arranged, which are beneficial to this course and your learning. These activities are optional and additional fees will be charged to you. Details will be provided at the time of interview.
