Course Description: This course is designed to give school leavers an opportunity to gain first level painting and decorating skills.

• Handle & Store Resources
• Contribute to Work Relationships
• Contribute to Providing Working Platforms
• Clear & Protect the Work Area
• Prepare Surfaces for Decorating
• Apply Decorative Materials
• Practical & Knowledge Phase Test

Entry requirements: Enthusiasm and commitment is a must. This course will suit young people with an interest in pursuing a career in the Construction Industry. All candidates will have an informal interview with the Course Tutor.

Progression/Career Opportunities: On successful completion of the course, you will have the opportunity to progress to the Intermediate Construction Award.
