How Will I Be Assessed?
A LISTENING exam with questions in English and the foreign language.
A READING exam with questions in English and the foreign language.
A WRITTEN exam. If you do the Foundation Level you will write a message and a short letter in the foreign language. For Higher Level you write a short letter and an essay of 120 words.
An ORAL exam, conducted by the teacher: one short role play, a short presentation (prepared in advance), a short discussion and a conversation on the above topics
You can enter for the Foundation or Higher Level papers or a mixture of both.
What Could I Do Next?
If you enjoy the course you can progress to AS Level in the second year, or use your skills to pick up other new languages and to travel. You do not need an A Level to take Spanish at University.
