Course Description
Geography is a broad subject that bridges between social and physical sciences. It will deepen your understanding of issues facing the world; global warming, migration and the Aids epidemic and the increasing threat of flooding. Field trips to rivers, coastlines and city centres will relate your learning to actual situations and are reinforced by visiting speakers from the Environment Agency and from Yorkshire Forward. You will attend a conference on current geographical issues.
