Health and Social Care BTEC National Diploma in Care Level 3
This course is the equivalent to 3 A Levels and includes learning about how people develop, skills for working with people, services available for people, applied psychology, sociology and social policy, communication and inter-personal skills.
Lecturers on the course come from a variety of Health & Social Care backgrounds. Visits to hospitals, residential centres, exhibitions and work experience are an integral part of the course.

WHERE IT COULD LEAD
This vocational course is intended as preparation for higher education, social work, nursing or working with children, older people and people with disabilities. The course also prepares you for a range of careers in community work, health services, nursing, dental nurse training, housing services, youth work and social welfare work, teaching, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy and professions allied to medicine (Radiography, Pathology, Physiotherapy).
