Full Time Level 1 Introductory Diploma Public Services

INTRODUCTORY DIPLOMA PUBLIC SERVICES
This vocational course is designed for students who wish to work in the public services or the sports sector but do not have the entry requirements for our higher level courses. This course will introduce the profession to you and will help you to develop skills in teamwork and carer planning.

Length of Course
One year full time.

What qualifications do I need to study on the course?
Grades E, F ad G in your GCSEs.
What will I study?
The course will focus on:
· Taking part in a sporting event
· Ensuring personal health and safety at work
· Customer service in Public Services
· Developing skills in IT
· The healthy body
· Personal effectiveness
· Financial Management

Method of assessment
You will be assessed by written and practical projects.

What will I be able to progress to?
This course can lead to public service-related employment although the majority of student who complete this course move on to study the First Diploma in Public Services.
