Progression Routes
This course attracts UCAS points equivalent to 3 A2 Levels, is acceptable for university entrance and prepares students very well for study at higher levels. Since the units cover a wide range of both practical and theoretical topics, there are many subject routes for progression including: Animal Management, Agricultural Science, Biological Science, Marine Biology, Environmental Science and Animal Behaviour and Welfare. Some students may choose to progress directly into employment from the course. The knowledge and skills gained equip students well for this option and work placement, visits and speakers expose the students to the breadth of options available.
