Course Details
This course is for students with a passion for music who are
prepared to practise for at least 90 minutes a day in their own time.

What will I study?
The course is comprised of 12 units.

· You will complete projects and assignments based on the typical demands faced by a musician involved in playing live or recording their own music.

· You will be given the opportunity to perform, rehearse, write and record your own music, as well as work with the music of others.

· You will also learn about the employment area you have
chosen, and develop the skills you need to start a career.

All the tutors have extensive experience as working musicians.

An A/S subject or GCSE resit in English or Maths can be studied alongside this course if appropriate

Entry Requirements:
Progression/Careers: You could go to University or College and take a degree or a Foundation Degree in Music, Music Technology or Music
Management. You might consider a career in Music
Management, Teaching, Performance or Production.

Costs/Equipment: Studio Fee £50 per year
Student†s own instrument must be maintained for concert readiness.
