Is it right for me?
Have you ever wondered what skills you need to be able to conserve animals in the wild? Are you interested in gaining practical skills that could lead to a career in managing habitats for their wildlife values by studying, monitoring and conserving the animals that live in them? The field of animal care has an important role to play in helping to conserve wild animals in their natural habitats. This could be through active management and surveying. It could use skills such as reintroduction and rehabilitating wild species. It could be studying an animal's behaviour to understand why it is being affected by changes in its habitat. This will combine with practical skills in surveying animals and habitats and rehabilitating wildlife.
