WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
You will learn the basic skills required in Painting and Decorating to enhance your employability in the trade.
The course covers the skills and knowledge aspects for employment in the Painting and Decorating industry.

WHAT WILL I STUDY?
You will study and achieve the following qualifications on the course:-

Award in Functional Skills English
Award in Functional Skills Mathematics
BTEC Certificate in Construction and the built environment Level 1
Certificate of Introduction to Employment in the Construction Industry

WHAT ARE MY COMMITMENTS?
The course requires a minimum of 15 hours per week study, plus any additional workshop sessions identified. You will need to be able to reseearch subjects on the Internet and in the Library. You will need to attend all of the timetabled classes and tutorial/support sessions.
If your attendance falls below 85% you may not be able to complete your studies.
