Course Description:
This varied and exciting course is an introduction to the work of a make-up artiste. You will have the opportunity to develop your artistic flair and use your creativity and imagination in all aspects of the course.
Course Content:
Make-up techniques, including:
· cosmetic photographic
· theatre and special effects
· hairdressing styling
· pastiche
· art fashion.
You will also study Key Skills and may have the opportunity to gain an additional qualification in Face and Body Painting.
Assessment:
Continuous practical, oral and written assessment throughout the course, leading to the production of a portfolio to demonstrate competence.
Next Steps:
Hairdressing or Beauty Therapy NVQ Level 2, Foundation Degrees in related subjects or employment as a make-up artiste.

Entry Requirements:
Four GCSEs at grade C or above, including English and art or equivalent qualifications, such as BTEC First Diploma or GNVQ Intermediate. Applications are welcomed from
