What is Functional Skills Maths Level 2?
Functional Skills Maths Level 2 is an accredited maths qualification backed by the government. If you need to retake GCSE Maths, level 2 functional skills maths is the course for you.

Functional Skills Maths Level 2 is equivalent to a GCSE Maths pass grade. But the course is more flexible and you can take your level 2 maths test as soon as you’re ready. Unlike GCSE Maths where you have to sit your exams at the same time as GCSE pupils.

It’s a popular choice with our learners because they’re able to fit their studies around existing work and personal commitments.

There’s another reason our learners prefer the Functional Skills Maths Level 2 to GCSE Maths. The course uses practical, real-life situations so the questions are easier to understand.
