Gas Training

Central Trade Skills is pleased to announce that over the next few months will be introducing gas training, this will be approved by one of the leading certification bodies and will allow you to register from 1 April 2009 with Gas Safe Register™ this will be the new name and the official stamp for gas safety in Great Britain and will replace the CORGI gas register.

The structured programmes provide the 'off-site' training that a candidate is required to successfully complete in order to qualify to undertake ACS gas assessment our approved training centre.

In conjunction with the training programme, there is a Candidate's Portfolio, in which the Category 2 and 3 candidate will record all "on the job" and "off the job" training. This evidence is vital to prove sufficient knowledge and experience to undertake the ACS assessments.

Upon purchase of the portfolio and successful completion of the Gas Foundation training programme, the candidate will be issued a certificate which will qualify him/her to undertake the ACS assessments at a our approved training centre.

Note.
Successful completion of the Gas Foundation qualification will be dependent upon the candidate providing sufficient evidence of both 'on site' and 'off site' gas work experience
