The General Data Protection Regulation was enforced on May 25th 2018 by the European Parliament. As a result, the regulation means all personal identifiable information should be kept secure and protected. The regulation also gives people new data processing rights including access to their data for free. It is essential that all areas of the regulation are covered and that you have all the information you need from an independent perspective. All departments are key to GDPR including HR, Marketing, IT, Sales and certainly, any department processing personal data. Business policies and processes are all included in the course.
