About this course

• Appreciate the importance of the basic rules of perspective drawing and the importance and use of eye level
• Work with imagined and observed spaces.
• Create one point and a two point perspective drawings.
• Use existing photographs and drawings to develop an understanding of perspective spaces
• Work with perspective grids.

Course programme

We will look at the basic perspective models employed to create interior spaces such as one point and a two point perspective, and freehand and sketching skills for visualising interiors.

Students are also encouraged to bring in their own work for troubleshooting and corrections where necessary.

Studio based tuition, 1:1 and group work. Handouts will be given on relevant points in the course. Outside of the class practice is encouraged, and with the offer to bring your work into the class for troubleshooting.
