Course programme

You will be able to build on your understanding of grammar by analysing your own written work.


Each week you will be asked to bring in examples of your own writing, give feedback on others work and research and present on grammatical topics.
The tutor will provide relevant handouts and materials throughout the course. You will be asked to bring your written work to class.
You may also wish to concentrate on more specific types of writing, such as Essay Writing, Business Writing or Creative Writing, or join one of our general English courses (Functional Skills).

General information and advice on courses at City Lit is available from the Student Centre and Library on Monday to Friday from 12:00 – 19:00.
