SCHOOL MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP
This workshop consists of two distinct components. The first week (25 hours) Setting up a Nursery focuses on setting up of a Montessori school, topics covered include: the UK statutory requirements, marketing and publicity, designing a classroom and sourcing equipment. The second week (25 hours) Classroom Management explores issues relating to classroom management such as design and presentation of the Montessori curriculum, planning, assessment and record keeping, as well as working with parents and staff, and managing children's behaviour. Please note that there are many aspects of this workshop which are generic to good Montessori practice. However, all issues relating to legislation are UK based. It is impossible for MCI to give training in relation to legislations in different countries.

Participants can register for either a one-week block or attend both weeks. Please see ‘ London Fees and Charges' for cost.

Compulsory for MCI Infant Toddler Course students who are working towards their Stage 2 Certificate.
