About this Course
Do you have the ambition to become a senior designer or studio manager? Do you think you could run your own design studio or even become a successful freelance graphic designer with your own clients?

You could be a designer working in the creative graphic industries such as: advertising; marketing; print; exhibition and display or the digital online environment.

What will I study?
  • The first year provides you with an opportunity to experiment and learn new skills that will inform and develop your practice and technical competence. The second year will encourage the development of your creative awareness looking at specialist disciplines
  • You will study a range of subjects within graphic design including: advertising; branding and logo design; online design; magazine layout and typography, information graphics, packaging, illustration and digital photography. The principles of design, design methods, communication and fundamental theories help you contextualise your work
  • You will take part in educational visits including a second year residential to a European city and galleries throughout the UK
