Half-day awareness course: Effective Strategies for Working With Dyslexic Students

Course Overview
This course is aimed primarily at teaching and corporate training professionals who work regularly with dyslexic learners. The course assumes a basic knowledge of the subject and aims to provide participants with both practical strategies and ideas for more inclusive practice. Potential participants are advised to undertake the Introduction to Dyslexia course first if they have little prior knowledge or experience of the subject.

Course Structure
Venue: Thanet College Professional Development Centre (upstairs in OLRC / Library).

Mode of Attendance: 3 hour session.

Qualification Aims
This session aims at supporting tutors who teach students/pupils with dyslexia.

Assessments/Examinations
The session has no assessment.

There will be an attendance certificate on completion of the session.
