Typical job roles at this level include centre manager, home care team leader, key worker and care officer.This NVQ is about the development of services, organisational policy, joint working with other agencies, management skills and the improvement of the leaners own knowledge, skills and practice.This NVQ is designed for those people wo are involved in a wide range of supervisory or management roles within the health and social service sector. It is designed for individuals who are involved in team development and the effective use of people and financial resources including the management of team and individual performance in the work setting. You would be involved in the provision of standards for the recruitment and selection of volunteers/staff.This NVQ reflects the provision of support care and the planning and monitring of packages of care. There is also a focus on the assessment of clients needs and in developing or agreeing service responses to meet assessed needs.It is particularly relevant to roles such as:- centre manager- deputy manager- social worker- social work assistant- home care team leader- learning disability worker / carer- sensory impairment worker- care officer / worker- health care support worker- day care officer / worker- key worker- residential community care worker
