The Higher Diploma in Business Administration and Finance is one of the new and exciting courses that are changing the face of secondary and further education. This course is designed to develop your academic and practical skills and knowledge to be successful in the changing and vibrant business and commercial environment.

The topics you will study include:

· Business enterprise
· Finance and accounting
· Sales and marketing
· The management of change
· Customer service
· Business communication

The course will also develop your analytical, creative, problem-solving
and interpersonal skills that are highly valued by employers.

During the course you will have the opportunity to achieve additional
qualifications in ICT, English and Maths as well as specialist
qualifications linked to specific areas of business such as marketing,
human resources and accountancy. You will also complete 10 days work experience and undertake a small scale research project.

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed continuously during the course through a range of assignments, work-related research investigations and exams. You will be involved in project work linked to local business which will develop your skills and provide you with an insight into how businesses function.

On successful completion you may:
