The Higher Diploma in Sport and Active Leisure is designed to develop your academic and practical skills and knowledge of sport and active leisure and its impact on the individual, economy and community.

The topics you will study include:

· Businesses in the sport and active leisure industry

· Access for all in sport and active leisure.

The course will develop your personal learning, thinking skills and ability to work as part of a team. In addition to this the course you will also develop your analytical, creative, problemsolving and interpersonal skills.

During the course you will have the opportunity to achieve additional
qualifications in English, Maths and IT as well as industry relevant
qualifications.

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed continuously during the course through a range of assignments, investigations and practical assessments. You will also undertake work experience and complete a work-related project.
