Once you have completed your HND you may wish to study a 'top up' year at university in a relevant subject to achieve a degree.

Alternatively, you can progress straight into work within the Health and Social Care sector, e.g. in hospitals, social work, etc.

You will be equipped with the underpinning knowledge, understanding and skills for success in employment in the health and/or social care sector at a supervisory or management level. You will develop the skills, techniques, personal qualities and attitudes essential for successful performance in working life, which will enable you to make an immediate contribution at work.

We will help you to develop transferable skills and knowledge which will enable you to meet changing circumstances, whether in your own position, or in adapting to the general changes in the provision or environment of health and social care.

The course also prepares you to progress to further professional development of higher-level skills and allows you to study specialist units.
