Course programme
This course will allow you to work at a supervisory level such as a garden centre manager or become self employed as a garden designer.
You will study the advanced techniques of the industry, such as computer aided design, hard landscaping and plant propagation. This course lasts for one year.
What will I study?
- Garden design, including computer aided design
- How to create and construct horticultural features including walls and timber structures such as decking and pergolas
- Site surveying
- Horticultural science
- Plant propagation
- Plant identification
