By the end of the course, you will have the confidence to address HR issues that have been nagging away but without the requisite knowledge you have not been able to address. You will be able to plan ahead on people-orientated issues, and take a pro-active stand in preventing problems arising in the first place, but will also be able to respond quickly and effectively when they do. Suitable for: This course is aimed at front-line managers, particularly those who have had little experience of dealing with difficult HR challenges and who may be facing such issues in the future. It would also be helpful for more senior managers who need to see HR in the broader context of their organisation's overall development, and who may well find themselves supporting their more junior colleagues.

Course summary

This one day course offers an overview of the key elements of personnel management that non HR specialists will need to ensure that they get their people problems right. The course will be presented by John Burnell, Director of Personnel Solutions UK Ltd, a voluntary sector HR agency that has helped well over 260 different charities to address and resolve exactly the sort of problems you are now facing.
