By the end of this course, the student will be able to: Explain the roles and responsibilities of a First Aider. Conduct a primary assessment. State causes of unconsciousness. Conduct a secondary assessment. Perform Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). State difficulties related to breathing. Treat breathing difficulties. Treat various wounds and bleeding. State and manage medical emergencies. Treat burns and scalds. Treat bone & muscle injuries. Suitable for: Every company in the UK must have a minimum of 1 First Aider per shift

Emergency First Aid at Work Course Aims
The aim of this course is to allow the student to become a First Aider in the Workplace with a nationally recognised qualification.
This course complies with ‘The Health and Safety (First Aid at Work) Regulations 1981’
Course Objectives
