Would you like some help preparing for your Electrical Installations exam? This 5 day course has recently been revised by City & Guilds and re-graded as a Level 4 Qualification. It covers the principles and practices of electrical installations and will help you prepare for the exam qualifying you for the industry recognised City and Guilds Certificate - City & Guilds 2396-01 ‘Level 4 Award in the Design and Verification of Electrical Installations’.
Many topics will be covered throughout the course. Some of these include the safe isolation of electrical circuits and installations and the requirements for initial verification of electrical installations.
Participants in the seminar will also review the requirements for completing the inspection of electrical installations prior to their being placed into service. Other topics covered include the safe testing and commissioning of electrical installations, testing before circuits are energised, testing energised installations, and the requirements for the completion of electrical installation certificates and the associated documentation.
This helpful preparatory course is suitable for many different potential students, from domestic installers to commercial and site electricians wishing to carry out initial verifications.
In general, it is for anyone who wants to learn how to carry out inspections and testing of electrical installations prior to their being placed into service, and for anyone involved in, or wishing to become involved in, the design, construction, inspection and testing of electrical installations.
