Courses usually commence in September, December and April. Each course is designed to finish the week prior to the City & Guilds examination.
Duration :Full course 10 weeks - one evening per week for 3 hrs (Thur). Starts are Sept / Jan / April.
Who the Course is For:
This course is for practising electricians who are required to update their knowledge in line with the latest IEE wiring regulations or suitable for candidates who have, or are working towards, a level 3 Electrotechnical NVQ and need to enhance their understanding of IEE Wiring Regulations.
Cost: Approx. 325 + 30 College Registration. Cost concession not available.

The scheme has one unit of assessment 2382 - 10
This is a multiple choice test of 60 items of 2 hrs duration. It is externally set and marked by City & Guilds
A personal copy of BS7671:Jan 2008 is essential
Course Leads To:
Successful candidates with a relevant technical certificate may wish to progress onto the City and Guilds 2392 Fundamentals of Inspection and Test Lv2 , City and Guilds 2391 Inspection and Test Lv3 and NVQ Level 3 Installing Electrotechnical Systems.
