A lot of the evidence can come from observation and this consolidates our training that is then validated by this method. Enables progression to Level 2 and also development of duties and responsibilities - suitable for all! Work can be carried forward to the Level 2 and this acts as a n excellent business tool for us and SDL run this function for us - again we can then monitor its effect objectively.
SDL are professional and deliver an excellent service to us - we use them to deliver all our\training needs and our staff work in various contracts in various locations and business types including Public sector. The staff are friendly and also easy to get on with - all candidates have reported this to us and we always know where we are with them. Gives all that is needed for an initial grounding in providing the services required - a selection of units are available to suit the job role and we use this as an induction tool for new staff and also for those who will develop and progress to the Level 2. We provide this to all staff and the costs are minimal and we leave the rest to SDL who run this service for us and we can offer this to any age group etc. SDL are excellent and offer a professional service and we also use them for Level 2 and Team leader work.

SDL personnel are very efficient & always helpful and recommend their services - they do so much more than delivering training!

Have worked in Warehousing for many years and have the chance of promotion and the Warehousing NVQ has helped me with my confidence and also will allow me to be considered with all other participants for the supervior role. SDL were very good to me and also showed me what I neede to do for my file - i haven't done any learning for years and I was very surprised that I didn;t have to do lots of written work and study - which was great. My assessors were down to earth and helped me and showed me that observation and getting my boss to state my duties were ways of proving what I could do - once I reaised these many ways to provide evidence it came together really quickly. SDL know their game and guided me to get a full Level 2 qualification - a first for me!!! Really pleased and also proud. Would recommend them to anyone and they deal with adults all the time and treat you well.

Found the starting the course process easy to do. Had a session that identified what I had to do to complete the qualification and my assessor Tom worked with me to follow this through as I had a lot of experience that counted towards the assessments. He explained everything to me always and this was good.
No need to attend college or to travel distances as he came to me on site at arranged times and this was really useful and also saved me time and money.
Felt confident and wasnt talked down and enjoyed seeing how well i was progressing with him.
Had a good experience and would recomend this to anyone who needs to get the qualification and like me doesnt have the certificate - The assessor was great and his experience and knowledege was good as he understood what I was doing and also understood about sites.

Course options are great and Tom, my assessor/trainer from SDL, was really helpful in helping me decide what units would be suitable for my current and future work and career ideas. No travelling or taking time off work as he visisted me monthly when it was convenient but kept me focused by varied contact inbetween. Very pleased with the course, the service he provided was excellent and felt highly motivated at all times and will certainly use SDL for an apprentice when I start my new business project.
