Studying Mathematics and Statistics is a very therapeutically pleasing subject to study, I find that once you master (sort of understand) a topic area that the achievement brings you happiness. This includes both written work and papers, as they both play a big part in learning maths. Maths is a vast and I would say complex subject that requires a lot of effort (almost all of your effort if you can), reason being the techniques are for the weak minded to understand. The structure is somewhat made easier in a way at Coventry University, as you only study for three modules per term so there's less for you to learn. I strongly recommend Coventry.

I have had a very positive experience studying my degree at Coventry University. I am a mature student and have enjoyed my time here a lot. I have got involved at many levels, in societys and as course rep. I get along with students and staff alike. As for the teaching staff, the lecturers are all high-skilled and very professional. I got the feeling that they really got involved with their students. I would therefore recommend this course to anyone, hesitate no more!

So far experience has been mixed. the most important thing to me is the course and this has been good to a point. Most of the modules are engaging and teach a variety of skills and the majority of the tutors are helpful and have great amounts of knowledge of the industry. however there hes been some disappointments. The course currently does not offer training in software, which is a critical skill in order to get a job in practice. The tutors are aware of this but the current expectation is to teach this to ourselves. The university also has failed to fulfill is promise in the 'no hidden extras' promise advertised when I joined the university as this year we are expected to make a significant contribution towards our compulsory trip which last year was virtually free. There was also a reduction in the quality and volume of equipment provided this year in comparison to previous years. So far there has been no explanation provided for this change and has left me and fellow students disappointed that we have been mislead. We are also unhappy about how the university does not include students in major decisions . The biggest being the courses move from the engineering faculty to the arts and humanities without warning just before the course started. The first we heard of it was the day we arrived! This was a move that resulted in our course becoming neglected and isolated from key facilities such as computer suits. We are also isolated geographically as our studio/ lecture space is still in an engineering building.

My experience has been great, the course is fantastic, the nightlife is great, the people are lovely, the city is beautiful, the lecturers make the course interesting, there are a lot of opportunities to grow! Work experience, internships, industrial placements, part-time jobs, modules from different courses, skills modules. Courses and lecturers are interactive, fun, and make the course interesting! There are lts of environmental projects/ TEDx talks/ volunteering in local schools, migrant centres, refugee centres, city councils. The students' Union is well run, I try to get involved as much as I can, however my main priority in university is my course and degree.

I really enjoyed this course, i have no knowledge of supply chain management before.the lecturer was fun informative, and made the subject interesting yo can tell she had a real passion for supply chain management.the lectures were filed with videos and funny photos to keep the students alert and interested, it definitely worked with me as i am now thinking of pursuing a career in supply chain.we had weekly tests and two coursework. The tests pushed us to revise and go over everything we had learned in the lecture so we do not leave it to last minute. i think that was a brilliant idea, in the end i got a 1st in this course so i am quite happy. One of the coursework we had to do, was made a supply chain that we are familiar with lean, i chose waitressing in a restaurant, this helped me to see supply chain in my daily life and make it more useful.we received a free supply chain management book with this course.i would definitely recommend this module if you decide to pursue Business Management.
