Influencing, persuading and negotiation skills enable successful people to influence the thinking and behaviour of others and to facilitate an effective spread of information throughout their team. People who have these skills are able to build strong relationships, exert greater influence on their colleagues and project a positive image of themselves and their organisation.
Subjects covered include: what is negotiation; exploring approaches to negotiation; influencing others; characteristics of skilled influencers; planning for negotiation; skills of an effective negotiator and influencer.
The course includes all study material, course textbook, Influencing With Integrity: Management Skills for Communication and Negotiation by Genie Laborde, a detailed guide to study skills, and full tutorial support from your expert personal tutor.
On successful completion of the course students are awarded a Learning Curve certificate. Learning Curve is accredited as a training provider by the Open and Distance Learning Quality Council.
