Introduction
In modern organisations the concept of leadership through influence is rapidly overtaking management through authority as the most effective way of achieving results. However all people need to develop the ability to influence those around them in order to simply "get the job done".

• Identifying those we seek to influence
• Developing trust as the basis of influence
• Using influence responsibly
• Why and who needs persuading?
• How to be persuasive
• Preparing and presenting your case
• Persuasion through negotiation.
