About this course
Applicants would normally have relevant work experience or an art & design qualification such as National Diploma, AS/A2 Levels. Applicants with computing National Diploma, AS/A2 Levels or equivalent qualifications who can demonstrate creative ability are also invited to apply. All applicants will need to attend an interview.

Course Length
This is a 2-year, full time course. Applicants would be expected to study in their own time in addition to attending classes.

How will I learn?
All students are taught to use industry standard software using Apple Mac and PC computers, complimented by traditional skills in a dynamic and stimulating environment. The course will be taught using a mixture of approaches including practical work, tutorials, projects and teamwork. Individual study is also required.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment and grading is coursework based. Learners skills will be developed and then tested through a range of assignments.
Where could it lead?
The HND is recognised by universities as a suitable entry requirement for Degree level courses. You could also progress to employment in a design studio, design department of a public or private organisation, or as a self-employed freelance designer.
