Intermediate Apprenticeship in Health: Site Workplace

Course Content: The apprenticeship framework consists of: The Level 2 Diploma in a chosen health pathway - Clinical Healthcare Support or Healthcare Support Services Functional Skills in Maths and English at Level 1 or above The Level 2 Extended Award in Workskills for Effective Learning and Employment. This will deliver the Employment Rights and Responsibilities and the Personal Learning and Thinking Skills requirements of the apprenticeship. How will I be assessed? You will attend fortnightly class sessions with the tutor to fulfil the knowledge evidence requirements. You will be allocated an assessor who will visit you in the workplace to action plan your progress, observe your practice and assess your portfolio of work. Are there any additional costs or specialist equipment required? No What can I do after this course? Further study Upon completion of the programme, you can progress to the Advanced Apprenticeship or the Level 3 Diploma in Health. Careers You can advance your career in roles such as healthcare support service worker, ward clerk or medical/health records clerk.
