Intermediate Apprenticeship - Retail Skills

If you’re organised and committed to providing a good customer experience then this course will be ideal. This Apprenticeship will equip you with the skills to be a success in the world of retail as a Sales Advisor or Manager.

Topics covered include:

• Keeping stock on sale at required levels in a retail environment
• Processing customer orders for goods in a retail environment
• Receiving goods and materials into storage in a retail environment
• Processing returned goods in a retail environment

The learning experience will be personalised and fun, with training by a supervisor in the workplace as well as a trainer or assessor.

You will have access to the facilities both at your workplace and at the College, including our well-equipped library and learning resources centre.

Good English and maths skills are essential for success in studying and for future employment prospects and so Croydon College ensures that these skills are developed in all learning opportunities.

It’s also important to have good English and maths qualifications and so all students will study English and maths and work towards an appropriate level and type of qualification including GCSE.
