City Acting for Intermediates has been designed as a follow on from City Acting Fun for Beginners but is open to anyone who has completed an equivalent beginner's course or who feels they already have basic experience as a performer. The classes run weekly for 7 weeks, 7-9pm.

Course details

Rehearsing a scene from well-known plays and films every week, you'll explore different acting techniques to help you develop as an actor and continue to build your self-confidence outside the rehearsal room.

  • Rehearse and perform scenes from different genres
  • Learn acting techniques from Stanislavski to Meisner
  • Understand how to create a character and bring a scene to life
  • Continue to explore voice and physicality
  • Allow yourself to trust your spontaneity and imagination

The drama course is spread over 7 weekly sessions of 2 hours each. We keep group sizes small in order for the facilitator to give you a lot of individual feedback to encourage an intimate, friendly, and fun atmosphere in which you can learn and grow.
