Course Content
Lesson 1: Internet background; connecting to the Internet; starting Internet Explorer; toolbar; buttons; using links on the Internet skills web site (working offline); using links on the BBC web site (working online).

Lesson 2: The structure of Internet addresses; search engines and search techniques; finding a specific web page; changing how search results are displayed; adding keywords; using an internal search facility; edit/find; search tips.

Lesson 3: Using the favourites feature; using the history feature; deleting temporary Internet pages; saving a web page; printing a web page.

Lesson 4: The Outlook Express screen; using the main folders; Inbox; Outbox; Sent Items and deleted Items; Compose and Print Messages; send and receive messages; organise messages by creating a new folder; attach a file to a message; save an attached file; using the address book.
