Introduction to Customised Pattern Cutting and Fitting

You'll study the basics of personalised block making, creating a personalised bodice and one-piece sleeve block. Working at your own pace, you’ll then make your pattern into a toile, and then fit the toile to the body, adapting the pattern accordingly. You'll leave us with a personalised bodice and sleeve block, an accurate pattern and a fitted toile.

The course will include:

• Figure types
• Customising for individual fit
• Manipulating the blocks
• Pattern altering
• Fitting procedures
• Measuring and compiling size charts

Booking: Your course place is confirmed once you have booked online or via the phone using a credit or debit card. There is no deadline for booking. Places are offered on a first come, first served basis, and all courses have a maximum number of students. We suggest you book early to avoid disappointment.
