Following several years working in high end fashion glossy magazines, Arianna then spent time using her skills in the costume department of some well known films including Bridget Jones Diary 2 and Harry Potter. Having also completed a BA degree in Historical Costume Construction, Arianna now spends much of her time creating bespoke wedding dresses and headwear. She has an undeniable passion and love for costume, fashion and her craft.

Course overview:

Learn to make your own beautiful knickers - a great hand-made addition to any underwear draw or a lovely gift idea.

Elements we cover in this class include working off a pattern, laying out a pattern efficiently, pattern cutting, pinning and cutting fabric, sewing seams, basic overlocking, adding elastic, inserting elastic, adding ribbon detail, edging with a decorative finish. Then take the pattern home and make some more!

All machines, materials and equipment provided, although if you would like to bring your own sewing machine, you are welcome to.
